OGHAGBON ARGUNGU SERIES EXHIBITION 10, 2024: FIELDNOTES FROM A MASTER
Oghagbon has been documenting the popular Argungu fishing festival more than any visual artist in Nigeria using his paintings, drawings and photography.
This year the artist will be exhibiting another interesting and history rich arts in his Argungu series 10, titled Fieldnotes from a master at the O'da art gallery Victoria Island, Lagos. Opening Saturday 15th of June. 1pm. Exhibition runs till Saturday 13th of July 2024.
ARGUNGU SERIES documentation/representations a project that seeks to chronicle the vast cultural heritage of Argungu Emirate of Kebbi State, Nigeria to the World.
Oghagbon Eboigbodin Moses is a full time professional studio artist and tourism photographer. Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, he hails from Omolua- Igbanke in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria
Oghagbon is a born artist with flair for art since childhood. He attended Yaba College of Technology, Yaba Lagos, school of Art and Printing Technology, where he graduated from with the Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts, specialization in painting in 2003
He has strong passion for his art, photography, his ongoing Argungu project document action/ representation and his self tour Nigeria Project documentation.
He is Lagos and Argungu based Artist where he works full time. His works is known in Nigeria where it is widely represented in private and public collections.
