Fortune is a native of Imo State in Nigeria who lives in Lagos State, has an Ordinary National Diploma in fine and applied art with a focus on general art and a Higher National Diploma in painting and drawing from Yaba College of Technology. His art fuses exaggeration, stylization, mannerist, and cubic forms representing African land and heritage. He was curator and industrial attaché at the Didi Museum from 2011 to 2105. He has exhibited at the Lasgidi Cultural Arts Exhibition in 2011, the Thought Pyramid Art Gallery’s Next of Kin competition in 2017 and 2020, the Artyrama Art Gallery “Ode to Mankind” exhibition in 2018, and “Strings Attached,” an art exhibition and fundraiser for sickle cell warriors in 2019.
