Olalekan Iskil Odunbori




Olalekan Iskil Odunbori was born in 1989. He hails from Ota, Ado- Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun state, Nigeria. He graduated from the prestigious Yaba college of Technology, Yaba, Lagos in 2012 where he obtained a Higher National
Diploma (HND) in Painting. His outstanding performance earned him excellence as he graduated with Distinction and was awarded the overall best student of the year in the
Department of Fine Art and also in the School of Art, Design and Printing.

He is a multi talented and creative artist with expertise in Drawing, Painting, Graphic design, Craft and Body Painting.

He won the 2014 Nollywood Movie Poster Spoof Contest. For his paintings, he uses different mediums such as Acrylic paint, Water colour, Oil paint and Charcoal.

He is highly inspired by works of great masters (Nigerian and foreign), happenings around him, African motifs and music. He has participated in a number of exhibitions including “Fine Art department final year students exhibition” Yusuf Grillo gallery, Yabatech, Lagos (2012). “Lasgidi Art exhibition” Freedom Park, Lagos (2012 & 2015), “The Nigerian undergraduates’ exhibition of arts” at the 18th National sport festival (Eko 2012), Teslim balogun stadium, Lagos.

His works are in private and public collections here in Nigeria.
He lives and work in Lagos.
